本机由机座、机头、减速箱、工作台、切角刀、拖板等零部件组成。
电机通过减速箱减速后，带动飞轮旋转，当扳下操作手柄（图（2）中14）或踩下踏板（图（2）中19）时，开关座（12）即与飞轮（11）啮合，从而使偏心轮（3）转动，再通过连杆（2）带动切角刀（15）作上下裁切运动。
